Department of Human Physiology and Biophysics

Internal Rules of the Department for the Medical Biophysics discipline.

  (for students).

1. During the pandemic, the lessons will take place both inside the department and online. In the lessons that involve the physical presence at the department, the students must follow all the recommendations of the Commission for exceptional situations (to respect the social distance, to wear protective masks, to disinfect their hands regularly, etc.). In online lessons, the student must have a device with a working video camera and microphone. Throughout the online course, the camera must be connected, and the microphone will be connected only if necessary.
2. All students must respect the rules of behavior, keep in safe the instruments and the furniture, follow the security rules at the Department of Human Physiology and Biophysics.
3. The broken furniture, instruments and apparatus must be repaid according to their current prices. It is forbidden to use the laptops and the TV sets in the classrooms in the absence of the teacher.
4. The absences of the practical lessons are recovered with the permission of the Dean, according to the schedule of recoveries of the teacher, according to the preliminary registration list at the teacher of practical lessons. One absence recovery time is equal to the duration of a practical lesson.
5. Each test (totalizare) can be sustained three times, according to the schedule of the teacher (first time at the lesson, the second time until the test and the third time in the last week of the semester). The final mark remains the mark from the last attempt.
6. Students with absences and negative grades in tests will not be admitted to the exam. In the last week of the semester (week of attestation), one single recovery is allowed to a test.
7. During the semester, three tests (2 written and one computer test) will be performed at the Biophysics discipline. The final grade for the test is considered the last grade.
8. The attempt to copy at the written tests and the computer test will result in canceling the current mark and banning the current recovery until the attestation week.
9. Attestation at the end of the semester is made with the condition that the student has a positive mark for each test (at least 5.0).
10. The presence at the lectures is mandatory.
11. The laboratory notebook must be completed and presented at each lesson.
12. Mobile phones are forbidden to be used in the classroom, it must be placed in the bag/backpack, switched off or turned on silent mode.
